The use of crystals has existed for thousands of years in many ancient cultures as a natural part of medicine, for elixirs, protection, good luck, rituals and other purposes.
Did you ever feel drawn to a crystal and then found out about its properties you instantly knew what attracted you to it? Is it magic? Not really. It’s resonance, energy exchange.
This energetic interaction actually has the ability to bring body, mind, soul and emotions back into a natural balanced state or vibration. It is not a cure, it is supporting our body which is designed to repair itself.
How do crystals do that? How can they lift headaches, improve our skin, support concentration, bring inner peace or energise and improve the quality of water or oils?
It has been scientifically proven that the nuclei of human body cells emit light impulses that are used for internal communication between cells and for coordinating tissues and organs. These so-called biophotons are apparently affected by the electro-magnetic resonance of crystals, although the exact mechanism still has to be explored.
Mineral constituents, crystalline structure and the way of formation give a crystal a specific vibration – an electromagnetic field, which does not alter nor gets out of balance. When the electromagnetic field of a crystal comes into contact with our electromagnetic field it influences:
+ the energy flow through the meridians
+ activity of the chakras
+ stimulation of electrical nerve impulses
+ activity of the hormonal glands
+ metabolism of cells, tissue and organs.
Not only physical parts of the body are stimulated but also corresponding emotional, mental and spiritual planes – making crystal healing a holistic science.
So whether we wear crystals, make elixirs or potions by energising water or massage oils, use them for massages or place them on or around us – their energies effect us directly or indirectly - just like the gentle vibration of a guitar string makes the guitar body resonate.
